Treatment plans for WM are developed for each individual patient based on several factors, including:1,2
- Overall health
- Nature and extent of symptoms
- Need for more rapid disease control
- Age and eligibility for stem cell transplant
- Pre-existing comorbidities
- Consideration of possible future stem cell transplant
